From favoring H1B Visa recipients to providing leniency for illegal immigrants and criminals, their priorities often appear skewed. While H1B Visa recipients contribute to the job market, it’s crucial to strike a balance that prioritizes opportunities for American workers. The lax stance on illegal immigration and lenient policies towards criminals raise concerns about the safety and well-being of American communities. In response to this trend, we are putting forth legislation that firmly supports American citizens and taxpayers. Our proposed measures aim to safeguard jobs for Americans, ensure the fair and lawful treatment of immigrants, and prioritize the safety of our communities by holding criminals accountable. The United States currently maintains a staggering 800 military bases across the globe, incurring an annual cost of $100 billion. These funds could be redirected domestically, fostering job creation, reconstructing infrastructure, and investing in the well-being of our citizens. Against the backdrop of the ongoing war in Ukraine and the intricate geopolitical landscape involving Israel, it becomes imperative to reassess our international military commitments. Despite spending more on the military than the next eight nations combined, the threat of terrorism has only intensified. Unilateral U.S. military force should be a measure of last resort, utilized exclusively to safeguard the nation. By refocusing the Department of Defense on its original purpose—defending our nation rather than engaging in interventionist wars—we can significantly slash the current budget and redirect resources towards domestic priorities.
Energy Freedom: Advocating for a departure from the war on fossil fuels, it is crucial to reevaluate the efficacy of subsidies sustaining wind and solar energy, as well as scrutinize the potential malinvestment in electric vehicles. Rather than perpetuating failing subsidies, it’s time to adopt a balanced energy policy that recognizes the integral role of fossil fuels while encouraging responsible exploration of alternative sources.
